Description

 The People Bank is currently recruiting for our client, a consulting company for the public sector who is seeking a Senior Applications Architect to leads the technical team responsible for the design, development, testing, deployment and maintenance of the Siebel CRM system. The proposed Call Centre Consultant (CRM) should demonstrate experience in the following activities on a large-scale COTS Software system implementation. General experience, professional development and certification requirements. Previous call centre experience with the federal and provincial government environment, designing and implementation of call centres using Siebel, gathering information on how the organization services its clients and assessing the current service environment; assist with the configuration of Siebel, Genesys, the automatic call distributor (ACD) and other computer telephony services. High level of interaction with the project team members to provide orientation and support on the application solution, as well high interaction with the client representatives when gathering application requirements, providing application solutions, training and testing guide services.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Develop a robust, integrated, CRM architecture and ensure all development conforms to the architecture.
• Develop professional, well written architecture documents for client delivery
• Accurately estimate future and remaining work effort, and meet aggressive software build schedules.
• Evaluate the design and coding of delivered functionality and tests functionality as assigned
• Collaborate with team leads, project managers, product developers, system analysts, enterprise and application architects, developers, DBAs, system administrators to identify business opportunities and solve business problems.
• Improve processes, coach and mentor junior programming staff.
• Provides professional customer presentations
• Develop proposals and provide estimates for new work

Education and/or Expreience:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, or equivalent education/experience.
• Excellent design and analytical skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Minimum 5 - 7 years experience with Siebel Contact Center development and configuration
• Have worked on a minimum of 3-4 Siebel projects
• Experience in hardware and database sizing with the Siebel product. Preferred experience in sizing for Oracle BI and Genesys 5+ years of experience with relational databases
• Experience with Oracle Business Intelligence integrated with Siebel preferred
• Experience with Genesys integrated with Siebel preferred
• Experience with the full software development lifecycle, including functional & technical specification, development (including object and component based design), UML, documentation, QA processes, source control, deployments, and maintenance. CMM/CMMI experience preferred
• Experience with EIM, EAI, MQ, and other Siebel integration technologies
• Recent experience with Siebel upgrades a strong plus
• Customer care workflow tool configuration experience.
• Skilled in gathering client application requirements and providing application solutions.
• Ability to train client’s personnel and provide test guide requirements.
• Strong interpersonal, time management and organizational skills.
• Attention to detail
• High level of client relationship building and customer focus.
• Previous experience with the management of a technical team.
• Siebel certification preferred
• General Development Skills (C, VB, C++, C#, JAVA) preferred
• Strong SQL skills. Working knowledge of Oracle DBMS a plus.
• Experience with Solaris/Linux/UNIX and Windows NT/2000 development environments.

Organizational Relationships:

The Senior Applications Architect works closely and reports to the Program Manager, the Siebel, BI Architect, Genesys, Business Analyst staff as well as daily meetings and regular interaction with the client.
